The boards are designed to be student-friendly and use visuals to aid understanding and retention. Classroom activities and talks have further enhanced pupils’ awareness of sugar content in food.
In keeping with this commitment, the school has also introduced a no-sweets policy for birthday celebrations. From September 1st, students will not be permitted to distribute sweets, chocolates, or food items on their birthdays, in line with our efforts to promote healthier choices, avoid allergies, and maintain uniformity. Instead, children may share small, non-food tokens such as stationery, puzzles, or books, ensuring a more meaningful and inclusive celebration. A similar approach was taken on Independence Day, when students were gifted tri-colour pencils in place of sweets, reinforcing the value of thoughtful and health-conscious alternatives.
Together, these measures strengthen our goal of fostering informed dietary habits and encouraging long-term health and well-being. We remain committed to deepening these efforts in collaboration with health professionals and other stakeholders.

The event commenced with an invocation and a warm welcome address by Ms Selvaraj, the Senior Academic Coordinator, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere. The programme featured diverse performances, including the lively segment ‘Anna's Christmas Overture’ by Grade 1 and a soulful rendition titled ‘A Celestial Noel’ comprising a Latin hymn ‘Santus’ followed by the divine ‘O Holy Night’ by the school choir. The presence of the Committee of Management and distinguished guests added prestige to the occasion.
The overarching theme of the concert, ‘We, The People: A Chronicle of Shared Vision’, ingeniously highlighted values such as democracy, liberty, fraternity, equality, secularism, justice and others that are pivotal in shaping a just and inclusive society. Throughout the programme, these ideals were intricately woven into the performances in the form of dances, dance dramas and choral recitation, creating a narrative that resonated with the audience. The final performance by Grade 10 students, showcasing a joyful India, was not merely an artistic expression but also a reflection of the core values that bind communities together.
Ms. Kotian, the Principal, further amplified the significance of these ideals in her thought-provoking address. By eloquently hailing the Indian Constitution and its visionary principles of democracy, liberty, fraternity, justice, equality, and secularism, she underscored the importance of these values in guiding human progress. Her speech likely served as a call to embrace and uphold these ideals in our daily lives, fostering a sense of responsibility and collective commitment.
